Texting

It’s harder to see ahead when you’re texting.

Text messaging required the driver to take one hand off the wheel and increases the amount of time a driver spends not looking at the road increasing the chance of having an accident.

It is an offence to create, send or look at a text whilst driving. Any action that requires the driver to take his or her eyes off the road and or hand off the wheel is dangerous.

Read or send any urgent texts before driving. Nothing is more important than driving safey.
