  • Almost 90% of claims lodged are from crashes in the metropolitan area
  • The most common crash in generating claims is a rear end crash
  • The most common injury is a whiplash neck injury
  • There are slightly more female claimants than male claimants, but the average claim from a male is more costly than from a female.
  • Males are more likely to be at fault for a crash.
