Regional South Australian residents make up approximately 30% of the State’s population, but despite this, they make up over 64% of road fatalities and 68% of serious injuries (2012-2016 average).
Left Behind, has been developed on the back of recent MAC research identifying that a new campaign would help further raise awareness of the road safety issues impacting on regional South Australians and their communities, as well as demonstrating how we can all play a part in keeping safe on the road.
The new campaign is another fresh approach in targeting behaviours that lead to the loss of life on South Australian roads and the devastating impact it leaves behind.
